Time Warp – Discovery Channel – Soap Bubbles Science with Keith Johnson of BubbleArtist.com

Many thanks to Jeff & the whole Time Warp crew. Especially those in post production… with 13 hours of footage, they could have mashed together a nasty blooper reel. Instead they featured the science of bubbles, how bubbles work and the amazing things we can do with them. That is exactly what my touring show for schools, museums, festivals… THE SECRET WORLD OF soap BUBBLES is all about. This was a blast to shoot. To learn more about how the day went from a bubble-pro’s perspective (I brought my own video camera to the set) please visit my .com website bubbleartist. I’d say it’s money well spent. What a great way to get students interested in a subject that is typically considered to be boring and/or overly challenging.

Sure. I’ve got to pay the bills somehow. It is an interesting gig as well. I get to speak enthusiastically about science & art with tens of thousands of kids each year. I get to consult with theme parks, performers and TV folks. To tell you the truth, I didn’t set out to be a bubble pro, it just worked out that way.

I also tour other curriculum based (math & science) school assembly programs out to elementary schools in New England. Have been since ‘86.
